Verizon will donate $1, up to $1 million to Rebuilding Together for every new caller who uses 1-800-THE-INFO to get a phone number between April 26 and May 31 (if you have 3 land lines and 2 cellphone lines and call for the first time for Verizon's toll-free directory assistance, Verizon will donate $5 toward the $1 million donation). 1-800-THE-INFO (1-800-843-4636) is a TOLL-FREE service providing business phone numbers, addresses, local searches and more. You don't have to be a Verizon customer to use the service for the donation.
